Eh he he. I haven't blogged for a long time, so I'll be doing a recap here. Today I met Alex sama, and she's very nice. This day seems to be the day for meeting seniors. I met up with my senior class today, and they had icebreakers, which somehow consisted of everyone licking one lolly, for some weird reason. Not very hygenic. And then the seniors couldn't remember our names so they called us by whatever we were doing, so we had names like Mr SMS etc. We were sitting in the Spectator's Gallery, which is basically the stands overlooking the school track. Just that morning I was sitting there playing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Baa Baa Black Sheep on Jietong's violin. It was very funny because there was a class having PE, and they joked that I was serenading them. But I don't take violin lessons so my violin playing is very funny. And Aine didn't go for the group outing!!!!! I went out with my orientation group today, and then after the movie I went home because I was very tired of going out. It feels like my home doesn't belong to me anymore. We watched Behind Enemy Lines, which had a quite obvious storyline, although it was well shot. But still not worth my $6.50.
Having lectures is weird. It's just so easy to fall asleep, especially if the lecture is boring. And the swing tables in the lecture hall slide very easily, so often you get pencilcases (and People) falling off. But at least the tables in my school don't swing that much. The ones in VJ are impossible to sleep on, because the tables swing if you don't hold them.
Backtrack to Orientation: Basically it was the same as what Aine said, because we are in the same group, Skyphus. There were two houses, the house of Thorrin(mine) and the house of Phyrrus. That's Kaori and Ling's house. Meia is in another JC, and because of orientation she is peeling like crazy. Jo-chan looks the same. I personally have been barbecued until I can't recognise myself. I am so tanned! Aine didn't go for the last 2 days, so it's up to me to tell you about it (as if you want to know, but that's the point anyway, right?). The reason why I'm so tanned is because we were going to different stations and doing different tasks under the sun, all of which was to have a lot of fun and build up teamwork. And we got very wet, but that was OK.
On the last day, we had a campfire, and we did this dance we've been learning around it. Of course, everyone got some parts wrong, (except for the councillors, they can really dance) so it was just random disorganisation.
My school timetable is pretty OK, because I get to go home at 3.50, which is good because it takes me one hour to get home. Other people actually have PE from 3 to 5...that is really scary.
OK, I'll write more next time, and soon.
