Read Fruits Basket. Cute~~~~~ But still not hooked. Yuki!
Am aching all over from another East Coast marathon. This time we cycled from Marine Parade to Tanah Merah, back again and then cycled to barbeque pit 73. To let you know how far we had to cycle, we started off from pit 27. Then we went in search of pit 73. We found it, but realised it was too far to walk. So we cycled back and got a tandem since Tracy claimed that she could return it by herself. So there we were, 3 people on a tandem(again) cycling up to pit 73 from pit 27. Blame the Councillors. They kept making us do the school dance by the beach. Most of us tried to escape. Eventually, me, Ying Jue and Justina went to look at the stars. I saw Orion's belt! It's so funny how you begin to recognise the constellations once someone tells you they are there and you see how the actual thing looks like. It's funny, it looks like the one on the star map. Weird. And we saw Sirius(the star, not the character) too.
After that came the ardurous task of going home. It was 9 and frankly, East Coast beach is NOT safe at night, especially when there are no lights. And the councillors got worried for us. So Lynn and I waited until we got about 7 people, by which it was 10. Then before we even passed 15 barbeque pits 3 of them abandoned us to take a taxi. We decided to walk on when we came to this area with no lights. So we stumbled around in the dark for a bit and then got irritated and decided to walk on the road. But we couldn't see where we were going because the bird sanctuary prevented us from seeing the beach. To make a long story short, I ended up walking on by myself because the others went to take a bus that does not go any near my house. No, don't worry, nothing happened to me.So we stumbled around in the dark for a bit and then got irritated and decided to walk on the road. No, don't worry, nothing happened to me, although I was really really freaked out. This was supposed to be interesting, not scary.
Moral of the story: Never go cycling with Lynn and Tracy. Accidents on tandem.
