Went out (again) today. Met and glomped both Meia and Ainey at Macs. Ainey always screams without fail. Met Priska too (in the toilet, of all places ...)
Harti and Yvette half-dragged me to go and watch Master and Commander (actually, I wanted too, just that I had spent too much money in 3 days). It was a good show, realistic, with blood where it was needed (duh, it's a war film), historically accurate and enough strategy. The French were deliciously devious. Hell, both commanders were deliciously devious. And the medical bits were really accurate, even though disgusting to watch. Watch it and you'll see (or you can disagree, I don't mind).
Later, we went to Coffee Bean and had a frank chat about our future. Somehow, it both galled me that we were so bleak, yet pleased me that we didn't try to sugarcoat things with each other.
Hmm, I guess people aren't easily satisfied.
