I've been neglecting this blog... *grumbles*

Been going out with friends. The outing with Jie and Siu Qey was good, the outing with Tracy and Lynn was positively lovely and the outing with Yvette and Harti was meh. Even though I was nursing a cold for the 2nd one. I think my favourite kind of outing is the one where you sit and veg, and then go and do something really different and interesting.

I love music boxes, especially when I opened them up and was utterly fascinated by the mechanism inside. It's amazing how something that looks like a comb and a cylinder with raised knobs can make music. I guess that's why I always adored any musical instrument: the range of sounds something can make is mind-boggling and lovely.

Also gained a lot of weight... mostly caused by irrantic sleep schedules, frequently eating out and lack of consistent exercise. And my mom really knows what to say to get me down...

Have another 6 items of my Christmas list to go. I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth the effort. *sighs* My mom is right when she says I'm obsessed... but I don't know why I care about her opinion so much. *sighs*
