To answer someone's question: I guess I like classical music, especially orchestra pieces, because they are so complex. Take ballet pieces, where it's fun to guess the moves that would go along with it, or opera, where they talk and tell stories in a song. It's far more... packed with experiences and feelings than an ordinary song for the radio, though I've heard some ordinary songs that come close. But they don't use as many instruments, the songs on radio.

I don't believe I like all songs: I'm far more fond of romantic period pieces than I am of say, Mozart, even though Mozart is more appropriate for my size of hand. I adore Chopin, but it's not very fun when you can't reach the chords all that well and you can't make things flow.

But modern music is very good too. I want to send you songs but I have no idea what you would like. It's like the time when I was stealing music off my friend's computer and I wanted to tell them: steal mine. Although I have a very clear idea that they would not quite get what I like about it.

See, these are things that I can only talk to you guys and not to them, because they wouldn't be able to fully appreciate. But I enjoy listening to talk about shopping and eating out far more than I ever could so it all works out anyway.
