Had the WEIRDEST dream last night.
I guess I must have slept for very long, because my dream was divided into 3 very distinctive parts, which you can roughly assign days. The three parts took place on this mish-mash planet, where some accident had occurred that caused both reality and fiction to mesh with each other.
In the first part, I happened to be in a particular place where I met Jack Skellington. He was rather confused from the meshing, and didn't quite know where or what he was. I was... in some sort of special team, and my goal was to help Jack remember who he was. I managed to do so by finding some of the other Nightmare Before Christmas characters, and we also found Jack's organ (which was a little battered). He was so pleased that he started playing a tune that wasn't fully featured in the show. When my superiors heard about it, they asked me to reproduce it, which I did. However, when I received my grading on the reproduction, I got a 'poor' on accurancy as they thought I had put in too many of my own feelings.
The second part was a meeting with my teammate, Alex. My other teammate (I forgot her name) was on leave, so it would just be the two of us working. Apparently all of us had some sort of special powers, and his was psychic powers (I didn't know mine at that point in time).
I met up with him after he gave some sort of Physics lecture, and as we chatted I got the feeling that I was very fond of him. We decided to go for lunch in the nearby mall together, but when I got there this madwoman attacked me, accusing me of doing something to her. I tried to tell her I didn't do so, but she wouldn't let go. Finally, our informant came to my rescue, but before she left she told us that a very strong psychic was after us, and that the psychic would appear after we had spoken a certain number of words.
Alex and I decided to skip lunch and went to walk in the park instead. As we walked I told him that to save on his word count I would do all the delination of what we should do. Midway through my plan, I realised that in trying to brush off the madwoman I had used up almost all of my word count, and that the psychic was coming after us. We ran, but she managed to catch up with me. I yelled for Alex, but after a while realised he was being held up by someone else. Somehow I managed to withstand the psychic attack, and the psychic left, saying that she would be back again.
In the third part, my team was back in our house. The 3rd team member was some girl with REALLY straight blond-brown hair (let's call her Rachel). Apparently, some of the Bleach characters had moved in with us until they found out exactly where Soul Society/Karakura was on the mish-mash planet. Rukia was one of them, which prompted a surprise visit from Byakuya. After much WTFing, we offered him one of the flower teas we had, and he asked for cream. At this moment, the psychic came back. I tried to lock the door (which would keep her from affecting us) but somehow couldn't. Matsumoto then took over and managed to lock the door, and the psychic went away. However, as soon as she went away EVERYONE said that they needed to leave the house to buy something. I was mortified, and asked Alex to stay, in case the psychic came back. He told me not to worry and left. (This prompted uncharitable thoughts about Rachel.) Feeling upset, I asked Byakuya if he would let me do something, and then hugged him. He was VERY uncomfortable with that, and told me not to hug too long.
Sure enough, the psychic came back and managed to break into the house. She didn't appear to notice Byakuya so I signalled to him to leave it to me, in case anything happened. We fought briefly and then she requested that I dance with her. Confused, I did so, and she tapped me into the witches' network. She told me that I ought to go back and unleash my full potential. I played along at first, and then sang some spell to break me out of the circle. I then told her that I wanted to give up my powers. Angered, the psychic threatened to kill me, but when I calmly told her to do so she stormed off instead. And that's when I woke up.
... I know, my dreams are WEIRD.
