I just sold my Phantom of the Opera ticket.

Part of me is going Noooooooooooooooooooo, but the other part of me who thought that November was way too early to buy tickets for March heaved a sigh of relief. I don't like to be committed so far ahead of time, especially since I don't even know my timetable for next semester. Not to mention that it's really distracting.

Even so, the same me who thought that the people who didn't go to see Miss Saigon were suckers is currently in silent rebel. Though I didn't really like the actor for Phantom in the clip I saw of him, but it's so rare to go and see a musical, in Esplanade no less. Yeah, I know that other places have more character, but I think that the Esplanade is really one place I can make my own.

Still, it's also a good thing as the friend who asked me to go isn't very close to me. When she pounced on me and asked if I wanted to go, and I said yes, a small voice in my head went "But what if Jie or Siu Qey wants to go watch? Wouldn't you rather go with them?" And the answer is yes, so now that I don't actually have a ticket that option is still open.

I'm not sure if they're free though. Note to self: ask after the exams, and when you know your timetable.
