The Chingay parade floats came down to my place today: we could see them from our flat. Quite pretty, though the music was so loud that I think if I were standing/driving close by my ears would be deafened. They're very colourful, though the detail gets a little lost from so high up. This year, people on floats doesn't seem to be as popular, though there was one float with live drummers. (Playing Lady Marmalade, of all things. =D)

There were fireworks too, but not near our place: I saw a little bit from my flat, but most of them were too low. After missing so many fireworks/firecrackers this year, I've gotten a little jaded, but I really do want to catch some. (One year, one year where it doesn't threaten to rain in the afternoon...)
