I was reading some of my old e-mails to friends in JC and I realised that I was so quaint. I would write about the silliest things: the weather, things I heard, funny metaphors to their questions. I can't believe that anyone took me seriously after that.

Talking about writing, I really miss writing both e-mails and handwritten letters. I was so busy in university that I stopped writing to Lynn. And I haven't heard from Rachel in ages. Not to mention that Jane, Jie and Siu Qey are all sporandic writers. What I should really do is get around to writing some postcards and letters to my internet friends. They've sent me quite a bit of stuff so far. Not to mention that one of them will be moving soon, and so I should drop her a line before she moves.

Is there anyone in particular who would like a letter from me?

In other news, I have been exercising downstairs of my house. Last time when I passed Jurong Stadium, I would look at the fitness centre just beside it and wish that there was something like that near my house. It would make exercising so much easier, without having to go to the gym. Quite surprisingly, they actually set up one, with a lot more exercise equipment than the one at Jurong.

My only grouse is that it's near the playground, and since this is the school holidays occasionally little kids will come and play on the exercise machine. The exercise machines are far too big for them, and they have the bad habit of hogging the machines. It gets quite annoying. Still, getting to exercise at a more convenient (and cheaper, hee hee) place is definitely a bonus.
