I pleasantly surprised myself by borrowing a book from the office library today. Mind you, I'm not really a fan of Obama (and neither of McCain) but I was curious to hear what he had to say. And that Obama had used "The Audacity of Hope" as an underlying theme for his presendential elections in the US made this autobiographic book all the more intriguing. The book was especially significant since (a) I hadn't borrowed a book in a long time, (b) I had never borrowed a book from the office library prior to this, and (c) I rarely read non-fiction.
I set myself a schedule for reading this book. You can see a bit of it sticking out of the top of the book. I used the paper I wrote the schedule on as a bookmark.
I returned home later than I expected. I had originally wanted to leave work on time, but due to some unforeseen circumstances I had to postpone my return home. The sun hadn't quite fully set yet, but it was definitely dark. I quite like the lighting in this picture. Again the photo is of an MRT platform. If you're familiar enough with this area, I think you can guess which MRT station this is.
Still, my return was early enough for me to get around to uploading the pictures, and writing the blog entry that you're reading now.
I hope to take enough varied shots for the week despite having set times. It would be pretty boring to have photos of just MRT stations for the whole week! Still, that's actually how I begin my day, so we'll see how strictly I'll stick to what I've decided.
Till tomorrow!
