Today is my 25th birthday.

Looking back on what I've wrote, I realised that I've changed a lot. I still remember fondly the times when I used to write my blog under my desk during Literature class (I never quite figured out why it was conducted in a computer room...) Now, I can post during work, but I tend to update my other websites. ^^

In one of my posts, I wrote that I didn't know what I really wanted, and that I wanted to find out what was my next project. It appears that I have a few in mind:

1) Preparing for my trip to Japan
2) Getting used to my new job scope
3) Applying for grad school

Right now item 1 is taking up most of my time - I'm going with Tracy, Lynn and Jie. However, Tracy seems to want to get ALL the things done before December. Which is... not a bad thing. Just that I'm not used to it.
To make things more complicated, I've got several other ideas that seem unlinked to the above (but are, in a way). Let me explain.

For example, for my trip to Japan, I want to:
1a) Lose weight. Why? So that I don't embarrass myself in the onsen! Also so that I have more energy to run around.
1b) Gather ALL the information. So that I can make a travel website where you can arrange an itienary based on when things are open. =P

And another example, this time using item 2:
2a) Learn Chinese. This really doesn't seem to make sense, until I give you the context - that my workplace is hosting a Chinese course, which I've joined. Shock! Horror!
2b) Keep close to my colleagues. Since I'll be out of office a lot, I still want to maintain ties with those in the office. And this sometimes means coming back for lunch.

I think these projects sound pretty interesting. And it'll be even more fun to update this blog on the progress of these!
