Watched Spiderman 2 with Jane at PS today.
Before that, I showed her the vanilla scent I found at Body Shop. I think it's really interesting. But she said it made her feel like eating ice cream and the perfume was in a pack with vanilla body lotion and bath essence costing $29.90. I didn't buy it, because I won't have the chance to wear it in school and I don't want a vanilla scent 24/7.
Anyway, we went to watch Spiderman 2. It was very good, better than the first movie. I like Dr Ock as a villain, I guess, and the acting was better this round. Plus not too many loose end and 2 possible villains coming up in Spiderman 3. Ooo, I really want to find out who it is. The humour was well-pitched and the dilenmas intergrated into the story without being a whine-fest. Mary Jane got her chance to shine. But best of all were the action scenes. Well-placed, well-paced and the Dr Ock vs Spiderman scenes were well-done (even though, of course, the four metal arms are CGI).
I give it 4 1/2 out of 5 stars for being slightly less good than LOTR. And a special star for Jane for watching it with me. I want my ticket stub!
